Project Description

On this occasion, the CLAU collection was chosen for the Hotel Porto Bay in Lisbon, a boutique hotel with 98 rooms of exclusive luxury. Built from scratch by Porto Bay Hotels & Resorts, the architect Frederick Valssassina authored the architectural design of the building’s renovation. The historical facade of the palaces of Lisbon since the turn of the 20th century has been preserved, in a mix between the ancient and contemporary.

On the other hand, as the interior design’s project of the hotel is a fundamental piece for its success, the Hotel Porto Bay counted on Paula Bianchi, an architect belonging to the Porto Bay Group. This architect was responsible for all the interior work of the hotel, for which she chose the CLAU collection of Pujol Iluminación and for whom the firm made a special design at the request of the project.

The aesthetics of pure lines and the perfect finish of CLAU were responsible for providing an air of technological avant-garde to the atmosphere of the hotel rooms, enhancing the intention to offer a service where technology plays an important role.

The body of CLAU is adjustable and rotating, equipped with an LED strip that distributes the light throughout its length, giving a warm and uniform light due to its 3000K color temperature.

The different versions of CLAU completed the project of lighting the rooms in a comprehensive way. CLAU table lamp PS-56, CLAU floor lamps P-57 and P-57 / E were the chosen pieces, resulting in the perfect set for perfect lighting.
